4. Eligibility: Students from the National Dental Doctor and Dentist Association can participate
5. A total of 20 applications will be selected for each of the two categories. The chosen applicants’ two-day conference registration fee will be covered by the conference organizers.
6. Display Specifications: The poster dimensions must fit within a space of 90 cm (w) x 180 cm (h)
Poster Theme:
Poster topics shall be in accordance with the theme of this conference. The theme of this conference is, “Delve into Innovations of Implant Dentistry.” This includes topics that cover clinical techniques, research into dental implant surgery, aesthetic restoration with dental implants, correction of dental implants, and related digital technology.

Poster Application Guidelines:
Please ensure submissions are turned in before March 20, 2019. An internal review of submissions will be conducted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
An Overview of the APAID Academic Poster Presentation
The purpose of the academic poster presentation is to promote high-level research and to share clinical experiences. Poster posters may use charts and/or photos to display research (basic or clinical), steps, and results. All participants will be issued a certificate of appreciation.
How to Compete:
The deadline for submissions is March 20, 2019. APAID Taiwan will hold a preliminary meeting to review and will objectively select qualified participants to participate in the exhibition. All applicants will be notified by e-mail. All those who do not follow the poster application guidelines or have missing articles will not be accepted into the exhibition and will not have submission materials returned.
Awards and Certificates:
A team of judges will select the winner of the academic poster presentation based on objective criteria such as content, subject, and presented scientific-evidence.
1st Place: $5,000 NTD & Certificate
2nd Place: $3,000 NTD & Award
3rd Place: $2,000 NTD & Award
Award Ceremony:
Winners will be posted at the entrance of the poster display area.
Awards will be presented at the Gala Dinner on April 27, 2019.

Poster Application Guidelines:
- Subject Matter: Clinical or basic research on artificial tooth roots, dental implants in bones, bone repair, or bone tissue engineering. Literature reviews and discussions on medical decision-making are also welcome. Submissions should not be work that has been published before in periodicals, books, etc.
- Upon receipt of the application, the organization will send the application an anonymous, qualified reviewer with the subject matter of the submission in mind. The organization has the right to delete submission content to ensure that the subject matter suits the event’s theme and/or the available display space.
- Cover Page: The first page of the submission packet should include the title, the name of the author (in Chinese and English), academic degree, department/specialty, and contact information. Corresponding authors’ names should be marked with an asterisk (*).
- Number of Contributing Authors: Only a maximum of five contributing authors should be listed on the cover page. Other contributing authors may be recognized in the general content section of the poster.
- Abstracts: Abstracts in should be written in/translated into both Chinese and English at the very least. The abstract should be between 100-300 words regardless of language. Include a brief summary, methodology, materials, results, and conclusion.
- Keywords: A maximum of five keywords allowed per poster. (OR) Keywords may only be five words long or less.
- Main Content: May be written in Chinese or English. Please ensure the number of words is limited to 800-3000 words.
- Picture: You may have 5-10 colored pictures on your poster.
- All references must be numbered in the article and references must be in numerical order in the order in which they appear.
- Please reference journal research papers and avoid referencing poster papers or abstracts.
- Allowable References: Journals and books.
